After India’s recent debacle in Australia in the Test Series, Indians have started questioning the team’s strategy and leadership. TechGig.com, a social networking site exclusively for the IT community, has come up with a unique way to solve the leadership problem – using the power of programming.
Now in its fourth season TechGig.com’s The Great Indian Programming League (GIPL) states one of the coding challenges as follows “After the complete whitewash of two test series which India played overseas, BCCI is facing an unexpected challenge to appoint a new captain for Indian Test Cricket Team. BCCI wants to test a new strategy by appointing a pair of captains for the next tour. However, leadership qualities turned out to vary from player to player…” A large numbers of programmers will be busy meeting the challenge of Indian captaincy using code to solve the captaincy issue.
